2017 is a big year for Acura and the company has made a lot of changes that are exciting. Every year, car makers implement changes based on want, need, and demand and this year, the Acura lineup changes may even make you want to come purchase a new vehicle. Since the lineup of Acura is still pretty young, there are big changes happening including restyles, redesigns, and other improvements. These are some of the major changes happening to the Acura lineup in 2017:

  • 2017 Acura RLX – The changes to this model include a streamlining of the trim levels in terms of the Advance Package and the Technology Package making them more in line with each other.
  • 2017 Acura ILX– For this model, you will find the following new exterior colors added: Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic and San Marino Red.
  • 2017 Acura TLX – You will also find the exterior colors changed in this model to include Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic and San Marino Red. In addition, there is a new GT Package that has been added that includes a body kit and even available 19 inch diamond cut wheels. Imagine the style on that vehicle with the added package.
  • 2017 Acura RDX – The only changes to this vehicle in 2017 are the additions of two new exterior colors: Lunar Silver Metallic and Modern Steel Metallic.
  • 2017 Acura MDX – The exterior design has been slightly redesigned with the change of the grille. It will now feature the new Acura family grille. Acura is also introducing the MDX Sport Hybrid trim. In the trim you will find a 3.0-liter v-6 engine, a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and three electric motors. The Sport Hybrid model features the same system than is in the RLX Sport Hybrid. It also uses technology from the NSX. It is sure to be an impressive ride.
  • 2017 Acura NSX Supercar – The NSX Supercar is the pride and joy of Acura this year. It is the only new vehicle that they are launching in 2017 making it their prime focus. All production is being performed at the new Performance Manufacturing Center (PMC) in Marysville, Ohio. It combines the looks of a supercar with hypercar technology. Under the hood, you will find a mid-mounted twin-charges 3.5 liter V6 engine. There are three electric motors: one in the rear and two located in the front. There is also a nine-speed dual-clutch transmission. This is the new vehicle in their lineup that you will want to at least test drive so you can feel its power.
