2020 Acura MDX Trim Levels
The Acura MDX is a 6-passenger SUV that is available primarily in three trim levels: Base, SH-AWD, and the Technology Package. The standard model comes with a 3.5 liter, 6-cylinder engine, blended with a 9-speed automatic transmission, which transmits power to the front wheels.
Acura MDX Base
As the standard model, the Base includes forward-collision warning with automatic braking, 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, Vehicle stability assist with traction control and motion adaptive steering and lane departure alert with lane control are also included.
Acura MDX SH-AWD
An optional system that can be added to the 2020 Acura MDX at all trim levels, the SH-AWD acronoym stands for Super Handling All-Wheel Drive. It provides superior agility, handling and responsiveness when compared to other three-row crossovers. This addition of the SH-AWD provides extra driver confidence and control in the event of inclement weather such as heavy rain or snow.
This mechanical torque vectoring system can transfer up to 70 percent of the power to the rear wheels when conditions require it to do so. In addition, it has the capability of moving all of the power to either the left or the right.
Acura MDX Technology Package
The Technology Package can be added to the Acura MDX for a rich assortment of features. These include 20-inch wheels as well as interior upgrades like wood trim and leather seats. Blind-spot monitors with rear cross-traffic alert, remote start and the automaker’s telematic service are just a few of the technology-focused features available with this package. Voice-recognition, a GPS-linked climate control system and navigation with real-time updates and the ability to reroute if the traffic conditions warrant it are also included.
With the addition of this package, the entertainment system is also upgraded.
