Available Packages
There are three different packages available. The AcuraLink Standard Package is the basic package that is complimentary for three years. However, there are two other packages: the AcuraLink Connect Package and the AcuraLink Premium Package. These two options cost a bit more than the standard package but they also come with more capability than the standard package. The Connect Package offers everything that the Standard Package offers and the Premium Package offers everything that the Standard and Connect Packages offer. While you will pay for these additional packages, you can get a better rate for the packages when you purchase them for multiple years. Standard Inclusions
In the standard package, you will find three categories of services: vehicle services, AcuraLink Real-Time Traffic™, and smartphone integration. Within vehicle services, you can search through your owner’s manual digitally, receive messages for 30 days on how to use the service and get the most out of your vehicle, receive maintenance minder messages, and complete in-vehicle service scheduling through Acura Service Connect with participating dealers. With the AcuraLink Real-Time Traffic™ component, you will be continuously updated about traffic information on freeways and surface streets and you will also be re-routed continuously based on the traffic conditions. This is only free for the first three years of ownership. The smartphone integration is free throughout your entire ownership and allows you to connect your iPhone® or Android™ phone to your vehicle. This allows you to Listen to thousands of internet radio channels through the AcuraLink Streams app as well as access Weather, Yelp, Facebook. Twitter, TripAdvisor, and many other apps.
Additional Services with the Other Packages
The Standard Package has a lot of benefits but you get even more with the other packages. For example, with the Premium Package, you get 24/7 live support to help you with things such as booking a hotel room, checking on your upcoming flight, and much more. The Connect Package includes things such as voice activated capabilities, real time updates on your vehicle status such as how much gas you have left, and even stolen vehicle locator.
