Acura TL Earns Top Rating in New Crash Test
Knowing that the Acura TL earned the top rating in a recent IIHS crash test is
peace of mind when it comes to your family's safety.
Perhaps you've heard of the recent (Summer 2012) crash test results that were done with luxury cars. The tests were conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Eleven models were put to the test which is designed to mimic the most dangerous sort of frontal crash -- when a vehicle strkes another car or an object, such as a tree, with just a small portion of the front bumper. Eight models flunked, but not the 2012 Acura TL. It was one of two cars that earned the IIHS' highest rating of "good."
